Boys Football Tournament - September 2026

A great effort from the boys at The Boys Football tournament in Alcester. They were all well behaved and demonstrated great team work. There were 8 teams taking part, the teams were split into 2 groups. The top 2 teams then played in the semi final. All the boys played their part in the team and contributed to each match. I was proud of how well they represented TG. A special mention to Diego for playing his first match for team TG. He made some great saves in the semi final.

Results: Match 1 v Studley St Mary’s CofE 1-1 Match 2 v Coughton A lost 4-0 Match 3 v Coughtin B won 2-0 We finished 2nd in the group behind Coughton A Semi final v St Mary’s Catholic Lost 1-0. This was a very even and close match we were unlucky not to have won.

To celebrate our 150th Birthday - our lovely Forest School Leader, Mel, with the help of Class 3's Environmental Advocates have planted a 'Legacy Tree' - they are all extremely proud of what they have achieved.
