PTA Fundraising

Throughout the academic year the TG PTA hold various fund raising events, which are great fun for all the family!

As a small school, in order to successfully enhance our children's education and experience of school, we really need all of our families to get involved with the PTA, whether it's taking on an event to organise, sourcing raffle prizes, or helping out on a stall for half an hour. You really can make a difference.

Receipts 2018

Total income for the year of £6,714 (2017: £9,176) was generated as follows.

Fundraising Event Income was £352 higher than prior year at £5,369 (2017: £5,017). The additional funds were generated as follows:

Donations: A number of parents regularly donate to the School via standing orders to the PTA. Income from regular givers was £245 (2017: £405).

Donations at school events (Carol Singing and Christmas Plays) were £603 (2017: £828). These “bucket” collections and the associated gift aid claimed are donated back to the School by the PTA.

Gift Aid from the Inland Revenue was £497 (2017: £982). Prior year included the gift aid claim for the sponsored run.
